Due to public demand, after the successful run of African Communal Feasts - Rumbalara Estate Wines are proud to present its new look half day event, African Rhythm and Reds on Tap.

The new vintages of Merlot and Shiraz will be "On Tap" in large oak barrels stationed around the venue and a variety of taste sensations are offered to match with the wine.

To keep Rumbalara fans upbeat and in a celebratory mood, the event will profile once again the awesome drum and dance of Rhythm Konnections and newcomer to the event is Zimbabwean, Chris Gudu and his 6 piece band who will add soul, afro jazz and township jive to the flavours  of the day.

Chef Andrew Simpson and his team will once again sate your appetites with various African dishes, as well as mounds of strawberries and chocolate fountains. Rumbalara punters are asked to take up challenges that high light the wine - A Barrel n One ( Golf with a Difference), Pin the Bunch on the Vine, are just some of the games that will see winners walk away with cases of Rumbalara Wines. In the mix with flowing wine, delicious food, fun challenges and great sounds, visitors are sure to enjoy a taste of Africa.
 

A percentage of our proceeds will go to the OLSH-TZANEEN mission, whose link to us on the Granite Belt is the Lyra Church.

         COST OF TICKET $120 per person which INCLUDES:

• Entry and handmade African bag made by the orphans in Africa with a commerative glass, programme and menu
• Merlot and Shiraz "On Tap"
• All the wines in the Big Five Range ( see tasting notes)
• Awesome African entertainment
• Delicious food all day

• Bus transfers to and from the event along the highway and through town starting on the north side at the Big Apple and on the south side at the Girraween National Park turn off (please contact winery for times)
